Candles At Sergelstorg Gave Birth To-United For A Humanitarian Cause For Kenya….
After Kenyans lit the candles at Sergelstorg, they discussed on starting an organisation to help support Kenyans who were affected by the Killings in Kenya. The initiative was then introduced at the Bargamossen church after a very healing process that was presided by Pastor Samson, Pastor Beatrice and Sheela. The church service was non political and was attended by all ethnic tribes in Kenya including some friends from Uganda and Tanzania. After the church service, an improptu fundraising was done, and we managed to raise 2500 Kronors that will be deposited to a Red cross account that has been opened by the committee. A proper fundraising will be held on the 26 January and the raised cash will be deposited on the same account before the committee identifies the project that will be put up irrespective of the tribe or the rural area in the whole of Kenya. United for A Humanitarian Cause For Kenya would like to request all Kenyans in Stockholm to unite regardless of the tribe to help in raising these funds as we continue this healing process…Red cross Sweden and Kenya will be the ones managing the projects in Kenya but under the supervision of UFHCK(united for a humanitarian cause for Kenya)……butdoisay….a good move indeed!!!
