Prime Minister Raila In Stockholm-“A Controversial Article”….

Posted on October 29, 2009. Filed under: 1 |

May i just clear a controversial article or statement I wrote when the Prime Minister was in Stockholm. Please read the article below>”On his way to  Lilla wien the pub he visited, did he pass thru Malmskillnagatan a street in Stockholm that resembles Koinange street in Kenya where prostitues survive here”.He is an ambitious man,he might want to bring a better life to those young Kenyan girls that are surviving hard in the streets of Nairobi.”

May I just make it clear that I never meant that he went to purchase their services, but drove thru the same street on his way to Lilla wien, just like you drive thru Koinange street on your way to MADDY and DOLCE clubs Nairobi. He spoke of the infrastructure in Kenya and I believe with a good infrastructure, jobs might be available that will change these young Kenyan girls, some  who are university students with degrees, from selling their bodies in order to survive.

Why are some people getting so worked up with this? Last week the US goverment did a ransack to get rid of many young prostitutes girls and boys from the streets and they nabbed quite many girls and boys. This should also be part of our goverments concern, we have too many young girls in Koinange street Nairobi that need to be taken care of. Grown ups can take care of their life as they wish, but let the goverment intevene in supporting the young prostitutes.

I hope this ends the anger, the rumours, the hatred and the calls am getting from some people……and by the way I have a freedom of speech!!! The Prime ministers visit in Stockholm was a happy moment indeed, there is no doubt about that!!!
