The Embassy Should Update Their Website….

Posted on April 2, 2009. Filed under: 1 |

I understand Wangari Mathai was in Stockholm, and Kenyans were not given the chance to meet her.The embassy would save alot of blame if only they could indicate on their website recent events that are taking place in Sweden.
Kenya will never change if the embassies abroad continue to ignore Kenyans abroad. Most of the ambassadors in these embassies are young and educated compared to the ministers or the goverment we have in Kenya.
For Kenya to prosper once again, the ambassadors, including our own in Sweden,Purity Muhindi should change their strategy, they should not change the strategy for their own benefit but for the purpose of giving Kenyans hope and a good vision.

As ambassadors and leaders, they should be capable of swallowing both negative and positive critics for the benefit of  the people they are leading.Keeping quiet and neglecting Kenyans does not do any good but harm our society. The year 2012 is around the corner and we need to put the blame game aside only for Kenya and Kenyans if we really love our nation and ourselves. We do not want to go back to the killings  we had 2 years ago,and to change this, our leaders should start with a good image.

I happened to come across our Embassy`s website, many events have passed and new ones have come but there are no new updates at all.Can the embassy do the updates so that Kenyans in Sweden may know who is coming, and maybe  can organise themselves and make an appointment to meet them by themselves and not neccessarily through the embassy.I hope Ambassador Purity and the embassy will change their strategy for the sake of Kenyans in Sweden.CHARITY….”CHARITY BEGINS AT HOME, AND IN THIS CASE,THE EMBASSY IS OUR HOME”.
