Qualified African Doctors In Diaspora Should Go Back Home..

Posted on March 24, 2008. Filed under: Butdoisay TRUE STORIES |

Are you a qualified African doctor in diaspora, washing the dishes and cleaning, please go back to Africa and help your people, who are lacking doctors. Some countries in diaspora, do not give a chance to qualified African doctors and engineers an opportunity to work in what they are qualified for, and so they end up working in hotels and restaurants as dish washers and cleaners.

Africa is lacking doctors, and it was sad to see that in Malawi, 50,000 patients rely on one doctor. Its hell for these doctors who see people dying every day helplessly, with lack of doctors and lack of medicines.

Diasporan life has not been so easy and luxurious as we thought before we came here and by going back to Africa to support the doctors there, its something to be proud of. There are many goverment sponsored doctors in diaspora who after attaining their doctrine degree, they refuse to return home and instead, end up living in diaspora doing other jobs. Dont you think its time to go back home and support your people?…butdoisay…
