If you read about them some more, you will realize that the reason they are so poor is that a lot of them refuse to go look for jobs like everybody else.

Many of them think manual labor is “for blacks” and turn to prostitution to support their families.
In fact so averse are they to the idea that they could be the same as blacks, they refuse to apply for social welfare, from a “black government” and instead live in shantytowns on charity from white charity groups.

Search Google for “poor whites in South Africa” and look around and you will see. It’s very sad. They are prisoners of their own crippling racism.
